Home School
Partnership
We
believe that children flourish if there is an effective
partnership between home and school. A Partnership Policy which
describes our working relationships, including a statement of
the school's aims and the mutual obligations of school, parents,
and children, was drafted by a group of parents, staff and
governors and agreed by the whole school community.
The policy sets out the school's aims and the ways in which we
put these aims into practice. They are regularly discussed and
reviewed, and, most importantly, we hope that they are reflected
in day-to-day activities in the school. We trust that you will
read and discuss the policy with your child, and that you will
support it in practical ways whenever you can.

Attendance and Punctuality
If your child is ill or if you have to keep your child away from
school, you must inform the school of the reasons for their
absence. On the first day of any absence, please phone the
school by 9.00am.
Children are expected to be brought to school and collected
punctually. Good timekeeping establishes routine for children
and helps them to feel secure. Occasional lateness due to
unforeseen circumstances is understandable, although regular
lateness is not acceptable.
Should there be concerns about a child's attendance or regular
lateness, the school will inform our Educational Welfare Officer
(EWO), who will become involved with the family to help improve
attendance and punctuality.
