English as an Additional Language (EAL) Parent / Carer Classes (Adult Literacy)
Darell Primary School, supported by Richmond Adult Community College, offers weekly free English classes for parents/carers whose first language is not English. The tutor is a qualified English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) teacher and there is also a volunteer who works with the learners. The class helps parents/carers of all levels with their own English language and grammar and also encourages them to become more involved with Darell School and their children's learning. It enables parents / carers to meet other people and to make new friends.

The school also offers additional short term classes in parenting, literacy and numeracy.

Yoga at Darell
A weekly yoga class runs in term-time on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm.  We practice Dru yoga ? a flowing style of yoga suitable for all levels of fitness.  Anyone over 18 is welcome.  For more details contact Anna Gilbert on 07850 768620

Hire of Premises
The school premises are available to hire by the local community for evening, weekend and holiday activities.
