Arts Week

As part of our celebrations for our centenary year we held a very exciting art week in November. We had over 30 visitors in school and the activities included Bollywood dancing, drama mask workshops, silk painting, willow weaving, reclaimed material sculptures, fabric and textile work.

The children worked on a range of activities and each class had their own personal challenge to complete. The children created some wonderful lasting exhibits for the school.

Even parents were involved and came to school for a salsa evening with a live Latin jazz band.

Make sure you visit our flying birds and notice all the different faces looking down on you in the hall, admire the multicultural stories illustrated on silk in the library and look out in the foundation stage outdoor area for some fabulous 3D sculptures.

We are definitely looking forward to our next art week.
